School Supplies

There are two ways to handle supplies this year. Either one is fine, and you only need to do one of them.

Option 1 — contribute $30. The school pools these contributions to buy in bulk, and each child is issued their supplies in the classroom. Envelopes go home from Meet & Greet: send back $30 in cash, or a check payable to Horace Mann Elementary. The school is working on an online payment option as well. Scholarships are available — email ldouglas@lwsd.org.

Option 2 — buy your own. Use the grade-specific list on the school website. If you contribute the $30, you do not need to buy anything on that list.

Every family provides these, either way: a backpack, a lunchbox, a water bottle, and headphones. Headphones must be corded — wireless is not allowed. Kindergarten and 1st grade need a USB-C cord; grades 2 to 5 need a standard headphone jack.
